Solar Storm in 2013 Could Be Disaster!!

United States Space Agency (NASA) warned of the dangers of the sun storms. A number of countries, including England will face off electricity and the widespread loss of communications networks - after the Earth was hit by a 'storm space'.

Electricity network in the UK will experience excessive heat, there will be disruption in air travel. Meanwhile, employment of electronic equipment is interrupted, navigation equipment, and major man-made satellite ceased to operate - when the Sun reaches its maximum strength in recent years.

NASA's senior scientists believe, the Earth will be hit by magnetic power of the sun flares in the level of the unknown, after the Sun 'wake from sleep the long' a day in the year 2013. Thus revealed in the article written in The Daily Telegraph.

In its latest warning, NASA said the storm would hit the earth superkuat like 'lightning'. Effect, can result in disaster for the world's health, emergency services and national security - unless precautions were taken before.

The scientists believe that solar storms can damage everything from emergency service systems, hospital equipment, banking systems and air traffic control device, until the goods everyday like computers and iPods.

Because the human dependence on electronic devices, which are sensitive to magnetic energy, solar storms could mean big losses and potentially become a serious problem for the government of a country.

"We know that the storm the sun will come, but we do not know how bad that will happen," said NASA's Heliophysics division director, Dr Richard Fisher, as pages loaded Telegraph, June 14, 2010.

"This work will disrupt satellites and communications devices such as car navigation, air travel, banking systems, computers, everything electronically. This will cause big problems for the world."

Some parts of the Earth will lose electricity. And to repair the damage, which did not take a minute.

In a weather conference recently held in Washington DC, attended by NASA scientists, policy makers, researchers and government officials, notified the solar storm warning.

This, says Fisher, is not just a warning, but warnings of the most comprehensive. The storm, which will cause the sun reaches temperatures of more than 10 000 F or 5500 degrees Celsius - something that rarely happens.

Each cycle of 22 years, the magnetic energy of the Sun reaches its peak, whereas, the number of sunspots (flares) reaches a maximum every 11 years.

Previously, the National Academy of Sciences, two years ago, has warned that the power network, GPS navigation, air travel, financial services and emergency radio communications could be disrupted by the activity of the Sun.

The economic damage could be twenty times worse than Hurricane Katrina - which devastated New Orleans in 2005 and results in economic losses of around U.S. $ 125 billion.

Any action that can be prepared in a country? Fisher said, security measures. Including creating the energy reserve system for hospitals and power plants, development of a more secure satellite.

Badai Matahari 2013 Bisa Jadi Bencana!!

Badan Antariksa Amerika Serikat (NASA) memperingatkan bahaya badai matahari. Sejumlah negara, termasuk Inggris akan menghadapi mati listrik dan hilangnya jaringan komunikasi secara meluas -- setelah Bumi dihantam 'badai luar angkasa'.

Jaringan listrik di Inggris akan mengalami panas berlebihan, akan ada gangguan perjalanan udara. Sementara, kerja peralatan elektronik terganggu, alat navigasi, dan satelit utama buatan manusia berhenti beroperasi --  saat Matahari mencapai kekuatan maksimumnya dalam beberapa tahun.

Ilmuwan  senior NASA yakin, Bumi akan terpukul oleh tenaga magnetis dari jilatan api Matahari dalam level yang tak diketahui, setelah Sang Surya 'bangun dari tidurnya yang panjang' suatu hari di tahun 2013. Demikian diungkap dalam artikel yang ditulis di The Daily Telegraph.

Dalam peringatan terbarunya, NASA mengatakan, badai superkuat akan memukul bumi seperti 'kilat'. Efeknya, bisa mengakibatkan bencana bagi kesehatan di dunia, layanan gawat darurat dan juga kemanan nasional -- kecuali tindakan pencegahan sudah diambil sebelumnya.

Para ilmuwan percaya, badai matahari dapat merusak segala sesuatu, dari sistem layanan darurat, peralatan rumah sakit, sistem perbankan dan perangkat kontrol lalu lintas udara, hingga barang-barang sehari-hari seperti komputer dan iPod.

Karena ketergantungan manusia pada perangkat elektronik, yang sensitif terhadap energi magnetik, badai matahari bisa berarti kerugian besar dan berpotensi menjadi masalah serius bagi pemerintahan suatu negara.

"Kita tahu bahwa badai matahari akan datang, tapi kita tidak tahu seberapa buruk yang akan terjadi ," kata direktur divisi Heliophysics NASA, Dr Richard Fisher, seperti dimuat laman Telegraph, 14 Juni 2010.

"Ini akan mengganggu kerja perangkat komunikasi seperti satelit dan navigasi mobil, perjalanan udara, sistem perbankan, komputer, segala sesuatu yang elektronis. Ini akan menimbulkan masalah besar bagi dunia."

Sebagian wilayah Bumi akan kehilangan tenaga listrik. Dan untuk memperbaiki kerusakan yang ada, membutuhkan waktu yang tak sebentar.Dalam konferensi cuaca baru-baru ini diselenggarakan di Washington DC, yang dihadiri para ilmuwan NASA, pembuat kebijakan, peneliti dan pejabat pemerintah, peringatan bahaya badai matahari diberitahukan.

Ini, kata Fisher, bukan sekedar peringatan, melainkan peringatan yang paling komperehensif. Badai, yang akan menyebabkan  Matahari  mencapai suhu lebih dari 10.000 F atau 5.500 derajat celcius -- sesuatu yang jarang terjadi.

Setiap siklus  22 tahun, energi magnetik Matahari mencapai puncaknya, sementara,  jumlah bintik matahari  (flare) mencapai maksimum setiap 11 tahun.

Kejadian pada 2013 menggabungan dua fenomena tersebut dan menghasilkan tingkat radiasi besar. Dia mengatakan sebagian besar wilayah dunia bisa menghadapi hidup tanpa listrik selama beberapa bulan, meskipun dia mengakui bahwa itu tidak mungkin.

Alternatif yang lebih mungkin adalah bahwa daerah yang  luas, termasuk Eropa Utara dan Inggris yang memiliki jaringan listrik yang rapuh akan mengalami kelumpuhan energi, hidup tanpa listrik selama beberapa jam, atau beberapa hari.

Kata Fisher, persiapan harus dilakukan, pada level sama seperti menghadapi angin topan -- saat pemerintah tahu bencana sudah dekat namun tak tahu seberapa besar kerusakan yang akan terjadi.

"Saya pikir, yang jadi masalah utama adalah bahwa saat ini masyarakat modern sangat bergantung pada elektronik, ponsel dan satelit daripada sebelumnya," katanya.

Sebelumnya, National Academy of Sciences, dua tahun lalu, telah memperingatkan, jaringan daya, GPS navigasi, perjalanan udara, jasa  keuangan dan komunikasi radio darurat bisa terganggu oleh aktivitas Matahari.

Kerusakan ekonomisnya bisa  dua puluh kali lebih parah dari Badai Katrina -- yang menghancurkan New Orleans pada tahun 2005 dan merugikan secara ekonomi sekitar US$ 125 miliar.

Tindakan apa saja yang bisa dipersiapkan suatu negara? Kata Fisher,  tindakan pengamanan.  Termasuk pembuatan sistem cadangan energi untuk rumah sakit dan  pembangkit listrik, pengembangan satelit yang lebih aman.

Saat ini, NASA terus menyelidiki pengaruh badai matahari di bumi dengan menggunakan puluhan satelit. Meneropong seberapa besar potensi ancamannya bagi Bumi.
