Menunya juga bisa dibilang menu Nusantara. Dari mi aceh, pempek palembang, asinan betawi, nasi liwet solo, ikan masak woku manado, hingga es palubutung makassar.
Pasar kaget menjadi jawaban bagi warga Ibu Kota yang sibuk hingga tidak bisa menyiapkan santapan berbuka puasa dan sahur di pagi hari. Dengan uang sedikit, sudah bisa mencicipi aneka hidangan.
Di akhir pekan seperti sekarang, mengunjungi pasar kaget yang ada di Jakarta dan sekitarnya juga menjadi acara yang menyenangkan.
Pasar kaget yang cukup besar dan terletak di tengah Ibu Kota adalah Festival Ramadhan Lapangan Banteng 2009.
Festival yang dibuka pada Jumat (28/8) dan akan berakhir Selasa (15/9) ini sengaja digelar agar warga masyarakat bisa melewatkan waktu menunggu buka yang bermanfaat. Saling bertemu bersilaturahim antarwarga, mendengarkan alunan musik Islami atau sekadar berjalan-jalan bersama keluarga dan teman. Untuk itu, festival yang setiap hari dibuka pukul 16.00 hingga malam hari ini diberi tema khusus ”Silaturahim Penuh Damai”.
Jalan Soka, Kompleks Nyiur Melambai, Semper Utara, Koja, Jakarta Utara, ditutup hingga tanggal 18 September karena di jalan itu digelar pasar kaget hidangan berbuka puasa. Pengelolanya adalah Karang Taruna RW 06. Dana hasil dari pasar kaget itu akan disumbangkan untuk anak yatim piatu dan pembangunan masjid.
Pasar Rebo dan sepanjang Jalan Inspeksi Kalimalang, Jakarta Timur, juga bisa dikunjungi. Apalagi jika sedang terjebak kemacetan di kawasan itu. Ada yang menyediakan menu ikan bakar, pecel lele, pecel ayam dan ayam bakar, sop dan soto, atau juga sate dengan minuman ringan.
Di Kalimalang, ada yang sudah buka sejak pukul 17.00, tetapi kebanyakan baru buka sekitar pukul 17.30. Sementara di Pasar Rebo, pedagang kaki lima atau pasar kaget (musiman) yang menjajakan menu buka puasa ini sudah mulai ramai dan ditunggui pengunjung sekitar pukul 17.00. Dua kawasan ini sangat padat pengunjung, lalu lintas cenderung macet.
”Saya dan keluarga lebih suka menghabiskan magrib di sini. Puasa terasa lebih menyenangkan sambil melihat sebagian wilayah kota dari jalan layang Pasar Rebo ini,” kata Usman (32) bersama istrinya Siti (27) dan kedua anaknya yang masih kecil hari Jumat (28/8) petang.
Beragam sajian
Dari banyaknya stan, terlihat bukan cuma makanan takjil, seperti kolak pisang, biji salak, es buah atau paket nasi, yang ditawarkan ke pengunjung. Di Festival Ramadhan, sebanyak 44 kelurahan di Jakarta Pusat pun memamerkan olahan makanan unggulan, mulai dari kue kering sampai kue-kue basah tradisional. Mau cari roti buaya khas Betawi itu juga ada. Mau beli sepeda motor dan mobil di festival ini pun bisa.
”Mau beli sekarang bisa, mau pesan boleh,” kata Ny Enim, salah satu penjaga stan kue kering, saat bersiap menjelang pembukaan festival, Jumat siang.
Masakan khas daerah lain, mulai dari masakan padang, jawa, hingga aneka masakan berkuah turut tersedia. Pokoknya, kebutuhan perut dijamin terpenuhi.
Wali Kota Jakarta Pusat Sylviana Murni menambahkan, ditilik dari namanya saja, yaitu Festival Ramadhan, tentu saja tidak hanya makanan yang tersedia di sini.
”Ada lomba bernuansa Islami, ada kerajinan tangan unggulan dari kelurahan-kelurahan kami, pakaian Muslim dan perlengkapan ibadah jadi bermutu, tetapi harga miring pun ada. Sekadar hiburan saat ngabuburit selalu menemani pengunjung setiap harinya,” kata Sylviana.
Bicara soal hiburan, pertunjukan khas Festival Ramadhan adalah musik marawis, lomba pukul beduk, menghafal Al Quran, serta pembacaan puisi dan syair berisi puji-pujian kepada Sang Pencipta atau surat-surat Al Quran.
Lapangan Banteng juga amat dekat dengan Masjid Istiqlal. Jadi, seusai membatalkan puasa dengan takjil bisa cepat melangkah menuju masjid untuk menunaikan shalat. Dari hiruk pikuk festival kemudian masuk ke Istiqlal yang adem dan bersujud di hadapan Ilahi, sungguh nyaman rasanya
